If all the negatives surrounding the XB1 are correct, I honestly wouldn't even use one if I was given it for free. It's the ultimate in privacy invasion and control, and I'm not ok with that. There have been a few times in the last 10yrs when financial problems have meant I've had to cancel my Internet access, and that could quite easily happen again in the future, so there is zero chance of me ever buying a console that has to be internet connected to work.

I gave up after a couple of hours as I found that you had to get things damn near 100% right before you could progress through the missions. There was very little room for mistakes, so you have to be a pretty good gamer to get enjoyment from this game, otherwise you just end up playing the same section multiple times before you can move on, and that's something that I personally don't enjoy.

It's not as bad as this review would have you believe. It's not great, but I've played much worse shooters.

You PC owners really are an arrogant bunch. So what if your PC is far more powerful than this new Xbox is rumoured to be. Many of us console owners don't care about having the latest all singing all dancing, power and space hungry PC systems that constantly seem to need upgrading. I'm perfectly happy gaming on an Xbox, just like millions of others.
