I'd be okay paying $70 a game if it meant that the game included supporting it with DLC, or more specifically, getting rid of paid DLC. Something tells me that Strauss Zelnick won't agree...

@gotrekfabian: I hear ya. I've seen every minute of every Trek ever made, and I'm not about to stop now. (Heaven help me lol)

It's crazy, but the Berman era created 25 seasons and more than 600 episodes of Star Trek. Plus the four feature films. I don't think we'll ever see that much Trek ever again. Even were I to factor in the Short Treks two seasons, the Kurtzman era has produced a fraction of that with an absolutely insane budget.

The one thing I will say about Kurtzman is that he does listen to Fan feedback. He might not know how to turn that into what fans what on the screen, but I do believe he's trying desperately to not produce yet another clunker out of the gate with Star Trek: SNW. But that's forever away. For now, let's see if he finds his footing with season 3 of Disco.

@gotrekfabian: Not sure I agree that we're being "bombarded", considering Berman era Trek included seasons that were not only double the episodes than the shows today, but also included two series running concurrently for seven years at one stretch. That's like, triple or quadruple the amount of Trek we've gotten than during the Kurtzman era.

Let's also remember that with the exception of season one of Voyager, each of the Berman era Trek series had a couple of dreadful seasons to start their respective runs. TNG and DS9 found their footings in season three in my opinion, and really took off in season four onwards.

It's make or break time for me with Discovery. Picard included the worst first season of any Star Trek series ever, but even that gets a pass from me as it continues to find its legs.

@mattock1987: All the precautions in the world won't stop the spread of it if there is an asymptomatic carrier in a room full of hundreds or thousands of people who may be far more susceptible to the virus. A virus that can survive on a surface for 9 days by the way...

@dzimm: I think you're grossly overlooking the fact that two months ago this didn't exist, and that the spread of this virus has gone largely unchallenged due to asymptomatic carriers. The trajectory for this thing is massive, if it continues to spread as rapidly as it is. It isn't a matter of "yeah, but the flu is worse".
