I agree. I played the original FFT and wasn't impressed. However, it finds new life on the PSP. The improved cutscenes could stand alone as an animated movie.
I consider Silent Hill: Origins to be an above average game that is worth owning. And possibly the scariest? It's rare, to me, considering that I haven't been able to locate it out of all of my local Bestbuys, Targets, Blockbusters or Gamestops.Comrade_Buff
I'm kind of "eh" on the Achievements and Gamerscore. They're okay and all, it adds a little competition to it and lets gamers flash their plumage in the gaming community, I guess, but they're not that big a deal to me. I base my game selection purely on what I like and think I am good at. If it boosts my Gamerscore, etc, great! If not, Imma not gonna cry.
I would say Crisis Core, even better than the original FF VII. If you like a slower pace and a little more thought, try FF Tactics, The War of the Lions. It's a remake, but it's beautifully done and the cut scenes alone are worth it.
Star Ocean looks to be good, but I've not tried it.
