Darksiders, coming out in the Fall, may fit the mold... A super violent, post apocalyptic zelda/metroid?

I saw a video where they even had a "bomb plant" type thing in it...

I am happy to see Split Second. I see it plays like Burnout revenge and Burnout Takedown (which are the best Burnout games). Iwas a rally big fan of Burnout before they started this open world racing crap they call Paradidse. I just have to wait untill 2010 to play it.....

I agree 100%. Loved Takedown and Revenge, hated Paradise. SS is looking ot be what i wished Paradise was...

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. But does anyone know a program or method that you can use to "extract" the audio from a video file, and save the video's sound as a .wav or .wma or .mp3 file? So basically take the soudn form a video i have and save it a s a seperate audio file. I really dont know much about video/audio editing....

well, today is April 7, and 3 games that I all want to get are coming out today... Godfather II, Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, and Ninja Blade. Im thinking of going and getting one of these on Thursday, but i dont which one... I want all of them These are like the first 2009 releases Im actually excited for apart from Wheelman (little short, but I enjoyed it).But for now, I can get just one, and Im really bad with decisions. So dont tell me "whichever one you want" as thats what I cant decide. I dont really care for what has long term replayabilit or online multiplayer.

Im a big Vin Diesel fan, hes my favorite actor, i really like the Riddick movies and i enjoyed his other game, Wheelman, but I kinda didnt like the demo for Dark Athena. It was a little too dark and "what the hell am I supposed to do here?" And the achievement list is one of the worst ive seen... (Hey, when im really undecided between games, that becomes a factor)

Im also a huge ninja fan, im not much into the hack'n'slash/beat em up type games like Ninja Blade but the demo... That was something else, probably the best demo ive EVER played. Thing is, im not sure if its worth $60/$70 whatever it is now, considering that Ninja GAiden 2 is half that price now...

With the Godfather, I cant say ive seen the movie, but im a big strategy game fan, sounds like a very unique combo of strategy/crime action (a la Vice City Stories?) and its been getting good reviews...

So umm yea, thanks for the input?

MOD edit - Please use the recommendation thread at the top of the board for questions like these. - Hungry_bunny

Indeed, it probably is system restore! But, how do i delete some of my restpre points manually without deleting all of them> I know how to remove all of them, but just to remove some... If i have to do it manually, where are they located?

Also, what about that recycle bin stuff?

I'm not entirely sure how to manually delete some restore points while keeping others, but if you don't reduce the amount of space used by System Restore, then they'll just build up again anyway. If you reduce the size, it should delete the older ones in order to stay under the size limit.

I cant seem to find the option for htis in Vista (im new to it). I remember in XP, but i dont know how in vista...

So my PC is fairly new, self-built, and for some reason, space on my hard drive seems to be being mysteriously "used up". Just two weeks ago, i had 809GB of free space. A week ago, it was 803 GB. Today, its 795 GB free. The thing is, Im not instaling or adding any new programs or files, and i cant seem to trace where this space is going. What's going on? Is this normal? How can I clean things up? Ive triead defragging, but this space gets magically use dup fairly quickly all over again....

So i just got built my new gaming PC, and Im wondering about some good free security programs. Antivirus, spyware, firewall, and the like.

For AntiVirus i heard that Kaspersky and Nod32 are the best among paid, but for now Im looking for something free. Ive heard good whings about AVG and Avast! and Ive also heard of Avira, which is the best, or should i go both AVG and Avast?

Ive also heard good things about Spybot. But what about Ad-Aware (havent heard much about it lately, used to hear it was good but that was a long time ago) and Malware Byrtes AntiMalware and what about free firewalls? I think I should be good with Windows Defender/ Firewall and my router though....

Im thinking to go AVG + Avast! and Spybot,it sounds like the best free combination to me, but I want to make sure.

Im also wondering about some performance tools, to monitor and optimize system performance.

Go watch the Eagles upset the Giants.

But seriously, I had the same problem with Oblivion.... Maybe try changing the difficulty?

1) Some essentials - Gears of War 1 & 2, Call of Duty 4, Orange Box, Bioshock, Dead Space, Mass Effect, Oblivion

2) Arcade games are released every Wednesday.

3) Dont know, just give it some space, dont place things too close around it or on top of it....
