I cant believe you guys are comparing this (the first encounter...Im sorry I didnt mention this) to DOOM. This is the same genre yes but they dont compare. At no time while playing this did it remind me of DOOM. I loved DOOM, yes it could get real hard too but it was layed out better......just better everything put it that way. SS felt like Matador simulator if you ask me, all I got done doing was "olaying" Sh it constantly and that got old for me fast!

To go off on a tangent.......now BLOOD was an amazing, underrated shooter(notice my user avatar) which needs to be bought back in the new gen! The second one was not nearly as good as the first but still the first game was just soo much fun.....very creative, very atmospheric....great levels. I think this would produce a Amazing remake or continuation of the series....probably never happen though. What do you guys think?

This game is BEYOND frustrating to the point its no fun at all. Like the title says I dont get it. The idea of shooting at 5000 things coming at you every ten seconds get real old real quick. Is this just me or does anyone else have this loathing for this. I had to quit before I broke a controller or worse! And before I get flamed to death, I have played NUMEROUS very difficult games that frustrated the HELL outta me but I wanted to come back to them and finish. This game is not one of them!

Well just to clear the air and my throat Im not partisan(which is very unproductive and basically ignorant)I just found it ironic that the Presidents "camp" is running ads pointing out how bad Romneys job creation and economic track record is....but yes its popular so it must be ok.

I did actually like the first one but I never beat it and I was wanting to get the first one again before (or if) I got the second one, but yea its hellishly expensive? But this is great news, where did you guys hear that the new one will have the original, I hope its not an unlock or something cause I want to play it first!

From the recent looks of this game and what I have heard of it, it could be a instant classic

Pros:

1 Bethesda and ID software are involved

2 Great looking evironments

3 BIG enemies (always a plus)

4 From the looks of it lots of gear (guns, armor etc)

5. Please Fill in..........6 7 8 etc

It just has that look and feel of a REALLY good game!

Yup me too, its pretty annoying, I hope they fix it soon.
