@LPDisturbedHU: Totally with you, Scalbound looked really good! maybe it was TOO good, and was too much to handle technically for current systems..lol Maybe we'll see it in a gen or two's time, if that was the case..

@JIMDOG4442002Fallout under Bethesda doesn't seem to be short of fans.. it seems to seel extremely well with people always asking for more. I will say though that they ought to sack whoever is working in the QA department, if they even HAVE one...

I was really disappointed about Scalebound and Star Wars 1313 because they looked really good, and Prey 2 looked intriguing and promising as a concept. Though as much as i would have liked a proper Rainbow 6 game with a campaign over this PvP MP thing that we actually got, i must confess i hated the whole idea of 'taking control the hostages' in Patriots, and this is probably why is got scrapped, because it was a terrible idea. I mean, what do hostages REALLY do in a hostage situation? nothing, they keep their heads down, unless they're John McClane lol.

@d0nch1ch1o Cod is what happened top those games, as Battlefield tries to copy its gameplay and pace, much to the detriment of Battlefield in my opinion..

@179107199999 Don't worry, judging by the response to the video, we're far from alone in loving the Mako, and i'm sure will pick up even more fans in the next game :)

@udubdawgz1 Exactly. The concept is sound, its just the environments as people have said, and a deeper implementation into the game is what's needed, But to say "It's bad, get rid of it!" is a massive over reaction and lack of foresight to its potential, not to mention a slap in the face and disrespectful to the many people that loved the Mako and its potential, which judging by the responses to this video, is a lot of us.

I've gone through all the posts, and judging from the general consensus, Gamespots hipster hatred of the Mako has pretty much fallen on its metaphorical bottom lol. I reckon they thought everyone would agree with them and jump on board, but the reality is, most of the people(if this thread is anything to go by), enjoyed using the Mako as i did, with many pointing out that the Mako wasn't the issue, it was merely the environments and implementation that need improvement and if anything, it was UNDER used.. Its sections in the game made me feel i was in an open universe, and not just in metal corridors all the time, and i loved those moments, though more to do and discover would be welcomed.


All we need is properly realised environments to explore and epic land battles, and we're onto a real winner. By the looks of the outside environments and promise of a much bigger and varied universe to explore in the new game, the Mako could be a major and great part of the game, and it takes a short sighted person to not at least see the potential of the Mako, and worse, insist on it NOT being in the game without knowing anything about the new game!..
