Um I would rather upgrade my Windows XP instead of buying a new computer altogether. It sounds more in-budget. :P Uh actually going to an i5 is pushing the limit of the budget, and I may only have enough for going to Windows 7 (I still want it x64bit), upgrading my Video Card and RAM.

So apparently I posted this in the wrong forum. And I found out about it a little late. Hooray.
On to my specs.
Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU
Q8400 @ 2.66GHz
2.67GHz, 3.00GB of Ram
Video/Graphics Card:ATI Radeon HD 4,600 Series.
No idea how to get my resolution.
Anyways, I'm thinking about upgrading to...
Windows 7 x64bit
Intel Core i5
6GB of RAM
I'm not really sure about the whole deal, especially what Video Card I want to upgrade to. What I basically want to do is to be able to handle Multiplayer Games Great, Single Player Games Good, and Work on the side (I work mostly on a Mac, but I want to check if it's Windows compatible without Bootcamp).
What do you guys think?
Hey gamers, it's... well, it's me. Yo.
So I'm thinking about upgrading my old PC to run MultiPlayer games great while running Single Player games well with a little bit of work on the side (whatever I do on my Mac I will test it on the PC and maybe vice versa/the other way around). So far I'm using StarCraft 2 as my leverage, meaning if I can run it on Recommended, then I can run a lot of games on "Recommended". (Unless of course this is a stupid move. Feel free to correct me.)
These are the specs I've gathered:
Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU
Q8400 @ 2.66GHz
2.67GHz, 3.00GB of Ram
Video/Graphics Card:ATI Radeon HD 4,600 Series.
I did get some tips from the Battlefield 3 Forum, and also from one of my friends. What do you people think?
Thanks for reading! :P
