You can increase sensitivity. You can use a mouse while you use the headset as a screen with a very wide viewing angle. Keep in mind that this is still in development stage.

Many gamers would love to see 3d and wide angle and high reaolution virtual reality. I am dying to have it.

I am sure Sony will incorporate this type of entertainment because they have headsets already. If this catches on then there should be plenty of games that become dedicates to virtual reality headsets.

I like to consider the headset as a tv display with HDMI.

Game competition is good but I do not want to see a saturated market with gimmicks. I am a big fan of steam but the steam box seems gimmicky to me. They want to offer a low price point and they want to offer a new steambox every year with upgraded hardware. It is hard to keep up with that in my opinion.

I would absolutely love to see a virtual reality headset of some sort that one can use to look around and possibly it could detect other movements too. Yes I do know about the rift dev kit. I want to see a consumer ready product.

These days games offer brief entertainment for a relitvely high price. Tomb raider..boom 8 hours and it's done. Chrysis 3.. boom done quickly. DLC story continuations are common for an extra 4 hours of entertainment. Sc2 and HOS make me want to go back and play again and again;there is replay value from multiplayer. Fine by me if they want to make some cash with HOS(a game that has most foundation laid) as long as they keep the servers going.

AC series is starting to lose me. There's too much running around and when I'm done with an AC game I realize that I get 4 hours of entertainment and like 25 hours of wasted life.

There is good effort with city scenery but running around in the woods and making circles to collect achievements is not worth it. Frankly it is depressing.

@Vitex2003 Because this year and the next, more people will have a ps3 than a ps4. And the year after will be same thing. Same goes with xbox. It's all business driven. It's all about selling more copies. By the end of 2013 there will be 70 million ps3 owners and maybe 1 million ps4 owners.Sooo....

Naw I disagree. It's the right move. You like cheap used games and so do I. The blocking of second hand games will ultimately lead to new games being cheaper.

Wow lots of people say it's the end of Sony without looking at the business perspective. It is not the end of Sony. If more people buy the games that they desire, then prices will be driven down and thus gamers will benefit from this. The expenses of gaming would be the same as buying used.

The price of new games actually increases when too many people buy used games. Supply and demand.. when demand is high, prices are driven down; that's what happened with LCD tv's.

Personally I hate the used game buying experience.

Competition keeps prices low and game quality high so I hope they all stay or even more enter. I am not a big fan of Nintendo right now though.

In regards to all the PC and console comments being made, keep in mind that some people do 3D animation and 3D modeling as a hobby or a profession. A souped piece of hardware like this makes a job easier and quicker. It can take many minutes to render a single frame of an animation scene depending on frame resolution and objects such as volumetric lights and smoke, and rendering a whole scene can take a heck of a long time unless you have souped up hardware. Console games are created from the use of PCs. Sound production is also reliant on processing power. Don't just think about gaming, but other uses too. I love consoles by the way, they make a smooth, fun, and carefree gaming experience.
