@eddienoteddy Any update on this? I'm curious about it as I own a copy of Batman: AK since July. I'm also wondering about how they are going to manage this.
If I remember my english correctly, in military terms, tactical usually pertains to local strategic activity , so I guess Tactical would be a better word here.
But I also meant strategy in the sense that one has to plan out how exactly to use his resources and sometimes modify that strategy based on the flow and rhythm of the game.
As a big fan of MOBA genre and having played the original DoTA, Aeon of Strike and League of Legends , I feel that this game is a really well made successor to the original Warcraft III mod that practically defined the genre.( After all, DoTA was the one that made it famous and drained so many hours of my life in school =P )
There are some bad points, like the half baked tutorial that won't help any newcomer tackle the steep learning curve ( I practically had to coach my cousin for the first game) and the fact that some times match making takes a really long time ( but to be fair that may be because of my location, goddamn it, I can't wait to transfer out of this desert country).
But the final score that I would give this game is probably going to be the same as Martin, a solid 9.0 !!!
oh man .... funny thing ..... I was gonna mention here in the comments that at least there are no pigeons in it and then danny says the exact same words ..... how weird is that ?
Honestly, I don't care about how many hours of gameplay it will give me.
The main reason I enjoy the Witcher series is because of its really mature gameplay mechanics / combat system and wonderful storytelling. Those are the two things which I feel CDProjekt do really well. I'll buy the game simply to experience those two things.
Secondly, the new game is supposed to be an open world, which I feel if you consider the level of detail and effort that CDProjekt put in their games, its not surprising that it will provide at least 100 hours of gameplay. ( Open world will be good. I hated the long and frequent load times between regions in the first game. )
This is one of those few video games that do justice to the book series from which it was inspired from. I love the books too, can't wait for more of them to be translated to english.
