Spongebob is way better than any other show on cable TV. Hands down. No questions asked. Period.

[QUOTE="thinicer"] Good find there. Yes SolidusRex, since you got your 360 in May of 2007, your RROD warranty is good until May of 2010. So call Microsoft and get it repaired free of charge. You're welcome.Chaos_HL21

I don't have the red rings of death. I only have one red ring. As far as I know that doesn't count. I registered my xbox on the site and it told me my warranty was expired.

Not too mention that post is actually from a different xbox that I ended up returning and my family ended up buying one for christmas of 2007.

Ok probably read it incorretly, kinda getting over a little cold I had. I would say repair your 360, it still has a ton of good games with it and afew great games coming up (Can't wait for Star Ocean 4). But I would also recommend saving up for a PS3.

I was 80% most likely going to do that but then I heard people telling me not to repair and just buy a new 360 so that kind of threw me for a loop but I should defiantly repair if I'm sticking with the 360?

[QUOTE="Chaos_HL21"]There is a 3 year warranty for the RRoD, and accounting to this post, you got your 360 in May 2007, so you'll have time left in your warranty. So I say use the warranty to repair the 360 for free.thinicer

So I shouldnt repair it at all? I would be more in favor of buying a PS3 if I didn't have to rebuy rock band 2, controllers, games, etc. But if I've got this right then if I go the route of sticking with xbox than I should just buy a new one? I got this xbox last year and I remeber making sure to get the falcon chip by checking the serial number or whatever it was. If I buy a new one can I just get the 200$ one and use my old hard drive?

I thought this might be better of in this forum but I'm sure I'll get flamed for it. Oh well here it goes.

Well my warranty just happened to run out a week ago and then bam a red ring. I'm pretty pissed to say the least. It happened right on christmas as we get Rock Band 2. It could not have picked a worse time. So now I'm stuck with the dilema of having it repaired for 95 dollars or just go buy a PS3. If I get it repaired I'm afraid of it happening again. However, as far as I know I can't return the rock band 2 bundle because the games opened. Unless someone knows better than thats what I'm assuming. What are your suggestions?

Well I just got the E 74 error and I checked to see if the red light came on without the av cables in and it didn't so that must mean I need new cables. So I'm wondering if I should get the HDMI cables while I'm at it. Would they be more reliable and is the quality worth the extra few bucks? I'm running on a 50" plasma.

I'm not the greatest at finding new friends and I was curious to find out if any of you have had any expierence in finding other gamer friends. I can never think where to find any others. I've never really had any gamer friends so I don't really know even where to begin. But I would imagine theres somethings out there that brings our folk together.
