What weapon do you prefer?

If I have the choice I don't use "plasma" or "energy" weapons like the laser rifle in Fallout 3. I don't like the feel, it's not real and it doesn't feel powerful.

I prefer weapons like the shotgun, you can almost feel the power as your enemies fly away. But I don't like rocket launchers, they usually make a game too easy, or you blow yourself up :)

What weapons do you like to use? oh yeah, melee weapons are nice too

M16 or an M4.. Other than those two, I LOVE shotguns

I prefer a hand grenade. a sticky. on the enemy's head, rearend, or crotch.

In Fallout 3 I only used energy weapons. Only the most technologically advance equipment for me plz.

I enjoy using silenced and flame based weapons as well.

Shotguns, silenced weapons (James Bond FTW :D) and Tribes disc launcher!
Also the mother******* freeze ray from Crysis is a good start

Miniguns for me, they are almost always the most powerful and satisfying to use in games, 100 bullets in an enemy withing 3 seconds.

I like pistols and rifles most in games. I don't like sci-fi plasma cannons and stuff, because they're not realistic, and I don't find them fun. Rocket Launchers make a game too easy normally, and Melee weapons can be amazing too.

Nail guns. Especially in deathmatches and you nail that moutherdude's...well...with it to the wall. ;)

The best gun i ever used was on Tom clancy rainbow six vegas 2 it would have to be the raging bull or the MP7A1 with silencer... pure class

Personally I enjoy using rifles. To be a bit more specific bolt action rifles. In games and in real life. (target) I guess some assault rifles as well. I am like you, I hate (for the most part) energy/plasma weapons.

Swords, Knives, Desert Eagles, Combat Shotguns, Throwing Knives, and a good, solid, right cross.Oh yeah, bow and arrow also. As you can probably tell, my prefs are either stealth when necessary or kicking in the door and going in with guns blazing. Both have their merits.:P

Usually assault rifles, but in some games (e.g. Left 4 Dead) I prefer shotguns.

I mainly use magic in fantasy games, but if I use a melee weapon I always use swords.

I always enjoy using sniping type weapons with scopes and stuff. I believe shooting from range is da bomb.

it depends..i'll go for the shot gun for a dirty kill, and a sniper rifle for a "what-the-hell" kill XD..

Sub-Machine guns baby! If there's a P90 in the game...I'm gonna kill you with it. Some energy weapons can be cool too but I, like you, prefer the more traditional ones.
