The graphics are certainly better then previous Halo titles. It's a good shooter however a bit to much of a "representation" is given in my opinion.

it's a great game, it does however require quite a beast of a machine to run it on High Settings. It's a threat for people with high end system, and a food for thoughts for those who don't have 8800 models. Regardless, I'm sure game has many features to optimized it well for everyone to play.

From this tests I wasn't able to see any Direct X 9 and 10 difference.. Water effects? Maybe if I see the game in motion I'd be able to tell the difference however on the screenshots it's almost impossible because the game water flows as a person takes a screenshot, It doesn't stay still to make a comparison. Texture quality, shadows.. I really don't see any difference. As for the video cards, memory and overall testing, well done Gamespot, it's pretty much accurate. At this point there really is no reason for Vista or DX 10 when it comes to gaming, at all.
