Hell yeah next pc i get will be all custom haha. The other cpus i was looking at (i5 750, 760) are part of the 1156 socket family, and i think some of the blockages in the dell can be bent away or something, thats what i did with the psu. I had to mov ethis little metal tab out of the way to put in a new one.
Ok, i got a Dell computer for christmas 2010. Last summer i replaced the PSU with a 500W Corsair and got a GTX 460 Hawk Talon Attack. The only thing that annoys me is that the i5 650 in my computer is dual core, and limits games like BF3, Arma, and a few others. (RTS as well) I would likean i5 750 or 760 but it looks like theyre not around so much anymore and are really expensive. Idk what to do, should i sell my cpu on ebay and buy a 760 on ebay? Help would be appreciated. I dont want to buy an entire new computer and a new motherboard would be expensive as well so i dont think getting the newer gen i5s is realistic yet.
