I really like this conecpt. 

Looks great, but find if it was cleaned up a bit it could be even better. Just find the focal to be a little cluttered, along with kind of random clipping masks. Maybe some smudging as well? But overal like the looks of this. 

Seems like we both found the same inspiration piece. Feels a bit similar to one of my older pieces. 

But I like this better, the gungey BG looks good, maybe just text work as Duder said and some more lighting effects. But I like strong lighting :P

Show about supernatural occurrences and legends. Lots of crazy stuff goes down. 

Her arc hasn't been fully translated, but everything so far. 

EDIT: Nekomonogatari, her dedicated story has been though. Or theres a hour and a half series about her for ya.

Can't really expect too much realism from every series out there. The style and story in Bakemono go very well together, so the Tarantino level of blood pressure and razor cat lady tounge makes sense given the context......and it's an anime :|

Very impressive piece you got there Snow. I really like the flow you made. Though I am not a big fan of the spikiness (?) of the effects. I'd prefer them to be smoother. Also I think that the colour scheme needs more work. Try some atmospheric gradient maps.Jas0n94

Yeah after looking at it now I'd go about the smudges in a very different way. And colors started out pretty good, but seems to have gotten lost in the process :P But I'll definitley keep that in mind for my next piece like this. Might give it another shot soon.

Lol ah, found the regualar text to be pretty boring so decided to just flip it :P

But yeah lots of smudging and clipping masks in this. then paint strokes for details. Could upload the psd if you'd like.
