Nice! FFA is one of my favourite GB games (though its not really a FF game, and its called Mystic Quest here - for some unimaginable reason to tie in with the SNES MQ game, which also dropped the FF here).

I'd like to track down the FFL games one day, they didn't get a release here so I'd have to turn to eBay US and factor in unhealthy shipping costs :(

Or there's this. Which is just so far beyond insane.

I actually have extra copies of FFA and FFL III, but they are cartridges only. Let me know if you're interested and I'll give you a deal.

I couldn't imagine paying that much for a sealed copy of a game. I'd just end up opening and playing it anyways. :)

Nice score! Especially for all the original Square versions. (The version of 3 I picked up recently was the SunSoft re-release, but at least it was CIB. At least my versions of 1 and 2 are Square.) May I inquire of the price?

Let me dig out the old expenditure log... keeping an excel file to tell you how much money you've wasted on games = worst good idea ever.

FF Legend I - $8.40 shipped (was just one part of a lot of 3 games and a GBC that totaled $33.60)

FF Legend II - $19.84 shipped

FF Legend III - $20.83 shipped

FF Adventure - $17.38 shipped

Not particulary impressive prices, but on par with eBay prices for the complete SunSoft versions of the games. I'm not sure how much higher the prices would have been if the seller had mentioned they were the Square versions, but I got a break on combined shipping. All were CIB, with the oft-forgotten maps in excellent condition.

I'm actually playing FF Adventure right now and loving it.

@BigC: How did you get such crazy-low prices on the PS2 and XBOX games?

Final Fantasy Legend I, II, and III along with Final Fantasy Adventure (GB). All complete versions of the original releases from Square (not the SunSoft re-releases) and all from eBay. I really lucked out as they are in amazing condition and the auctions had no pictures, lowering the prices. I love the Bay.

Just started Final Fantasy Adventure for the GB and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It's amazing to see such an impressive title from so long ago, and for the GameBoy no less!

I was pretty upset when I heard that Target pulled Manhunt 2, essentially admitting its lack of faith in the ESRB. Obviously they have the right to do this, but it seems pretty hypocritical considering all of the violence, gore, and sex they sell in unrated (and rated) movies.

With the whole situation fresh in my mind, I decided to check Target.com and make sure they had removed the game, and they had. However, I found out that they don't mind making money off of the game as long as you bought it somewhere else. Here's a link to the strategy guide on their website:

Manhunt 2 Player's Guide at Target

Target won't be the reason you become a murderer, but it will help you become a more efficient murderer! Hypocrisy at it's best!
