If you are looking for a 'funny' PSP game then maybe you should look elsewhere - like Daxter.

Powered Up looks a lot funnier, but Hunter X has better gameplay.

The PSP is perfect for Gitaroo man with the analog stick.

Parappa would still be good of course, but the quality of the graphics and the well known songs would mean that a simple port probably isn't good enough.

FFVII is definitely depicting Meteor, though it could be argued it is the original arrival of Jenova.

FFVIII is obviously Squall and Rinoa - the love story.

FFIX shows a crystal.

FFX looks to me like Yuna performing the dance to pass a spirit to the farplane.

I can't think of the others off the top of my head...might come back and post them if i can be bothered pulling out the old boxes.

If it is a remake then it should use the original battle system.

If they want to make another game with the FFXII battle system then start workin on FFXIV, don't ruin a classic.

By the way, all of the FFVII characters suck compared to those before them...wow materia - that makes everyone basically the same except for limit breaks.

What is the point in Square-Enix remaking a game that is not the best in the series?

Not only that but they have other candidated which are much more deserving - Chrono Trigger for example, and imagine how good a fully 3D Secret of Mana or Terranigma would be.

In addition to that, most gamers that would play RPGs would have at least played FFVII before, if not clocked it. Remaking a classic that didn't sell as many copies originally would sell much more copies the second time around.

And yes, FFIV and FFVI are better than FFVII and would look much better with a full 3D remake than FFVII which is already 2.5/3D.
