lol the last post is someone who only played C&C3 for a game or 2, or someone who is a very poor strategist. Now, Ive played both SupCom and C&C3, both are very good. I would recommend getting both if at all possible. SupCom is a slower paced strategy but, it is large scale, has very cool experimental units, and is an overall good strategy game (especially with the somewhat recent optimization patch). C&C3 has faster paced games, but GDI is in no way the best and they certainly do not "reign supreme" lol. Until the recent patch it was the scrin who were unstoppable, under certain conditions of course. There are a ton of different strategies that you can execute in C&C3, anyone who just masses mamoth tanks and avatars isnt a good strategy player - and yes it would be dull. Overall i think C&C3 , since its a smaller scaled game - can have cooler strategies than SupCom. However, SupComs large scale makes hordes of units very cool as well as the nukes, level 3 ships etc. and there are different strategies to play with there. Honestly the only reason that i personally like C&C3 better than SupCom is that #1 i have played it more, which is due to #2 it has lower system requirments and my friends and i can all LAN C&C3 games. There i nice balanced view of both - now you decide what you think sounds better :)

The units and ideas you proposed are interesting - but they are too much of an end game solution. If you had a super fast stealth bomber with a nuke - thats pretty much the end of the game. Same goes for all the other units mentioned. SupCom has enough to end a game without adding more powerful units. I think I would enjoy a mod that added more tactical units and ideas, rather than one that added easier ways to defeat the enemy. One thing SupCom is lacking in is tactical ways to defeat the enemy- it relies more on a heavy force.

I think one interesting thing would be to make a commando type unit or squad, but make it/them with a big weakness (like low health) and possibly stealth the unit - that way the user would have to be carful and tactical with how it used the commando. Stealthed units interest me as well. How about a vehicle unit, that when destroyed, make a large explosion with a low to medium radius, but that is very damaging. You could have it disguised as a tech level 2 or 3 unit, but one that does not attack. This would make the enemy have to be more cautious when attacking that type of unit.

Well some suggestions - but you see what i mean about using a tactical approach.

Thanks

The ignorance of people in this world always suprises me. You should have seen my jaw drop when i read this topic name.It isnt even debatable whether or not cryisis will look better than ANY 360 game, it is for sure. For people (like the topic poster) who dont understand why there is no competition, try doing this. LOOK and understand the difference between the system's hardware. crysis - designed with the 8800 series of Nvidia cards ; 360 - has a specially made version of a now 2nd or 3rd generation ATi card (i may be mistaken but i seem to remember at least 2 new lines of graphics cards coming out after the version that is in 360). So, graphically, modern PCs are always going to look better than 360 (its yet to be determined exactly what sony's graphics chip can do because it is esentially the first of its kind, a combination physics chip.)

So next time... please... PLEASE!!.... think!!!! before you say things without any research. Please?
