Oh BTW if you are excited for Resident Evil 6 then you must not have played the priginals in their hay day.

Been playing Resi since it's early Gamecube days (before they even settled on what four was going to be like).  I am excited for Resident Evil 6.  Guess that makes your statement a load of zombie turd.

Also what it with fans of this series and remakes?  Yes REmake was good but surely you all want to move forward rather than stay stuck in 1998?  I can't think of any other fanbase (besides Pokemon) that are so obsessed with remaking older titles when a downloadable HD port would be perfectly fine.

So in other words, you didn't play the game in  its prime.  Resident Evil's peak was years before the Gamecube was even released.

That's entirely your opinion. I for one would argue that Resident Evil's prime was on the Gamecube seeing as it had REmake and Zero perfecting the survival horror genre, RE2, RE3 and CVX ports at cheaper prices, and Resident Evil 4 a game regarded by many as one of the greatest games of all time. Just because the series debuted and originally grew on the Playstaion doesn't automatically mean those were it's "peak years".

I would have to agree with shadow. Even though the game was started on PS. The greatest peak had to be at resident evil 4 with the most selling then previous versions. It was still somewhat scary, adventurous, had a great storyline, and still had multiple bosses that werent regular zombies, but the original zombies were typical, without any uroboros BS.
