You get it as part of the package. Its an advertised feature of the console. Thats like saying that you shouldnt complain because the included controller doesnt work.
Have you tested it? There is both an equal chance that it works and it does not but, which sounds more rational to you? Will they just pump a buttload of bad headsets? Their quality can be questioned though. From the looks of it, it looks like a cheap phone headset.

It is free. Cant really argue with that. Although a controller that does not work is another deal since the price will be added to the PS4 price.
I was just using that as an example. Regardless saying you have no right to complain about the quality of something you get as part of a package that you pay for is silly and so is saying you have no right to complain about the quality of something because the competition doesnt have it. IMO of course.

Same basic principle. You are saying that you shouldnt complain about the quality of the headset because its free.. its not. You have to pay for a 399 package in order to get it.
