But what do you think if someone was legally free to do something that highly offended people and then did it - but then ended up dead be ause those offended killed him.Would you say that was successful because he was able to exercise first ammendment? these are the laws of life, whether written or not. You offend people you usually pay a price. it's just that in the west those lines of offence are drawn further in most cases, although some things (rarely) are likely to cause more offence

This myth of 1st ammendment and freedom of speech is very powerful as a myth to make people think they are different to those asian countries.
