I'm looking to buy a new mp3 player soon but im completely lost here; I want something that

-Has about 80-100+gigs of storage

-Is not an ipod :P

-Has great audio quality

-I can transfer data to quickly without any other programs getting in my way (ie: itunes) i dont mind having to use a specialised program as opposed to just drag and drop, but I don't want it to be overly complicated, as i would need to be able to backup about 40-50 gigs of non music to it.

I think thats all i need, it would be nice if it could play decent video too, but thats just an extra.

I know im probably asking alot here, but is what i need available or am i asking too much :P

Thanks anyway :) (Im going to bed now so i won't reply untill tommorow)

(Ps: I wasn't sure wheather or not to put this in PC hardware discussion, but if im wrong could a mod move it?)

Well, I've played both wow and lord of the rings online, and in my honest opinion LOTRO is far superior to wow, but yeah, its worth it, most singleplayer games you play about 20hours I'd say, so when you consider that ina month (depending on how obsessive you are :P ) you can easily get a few hundred hours out of a good mmo I think its well worth it.

why do pc gamers do this? supras989

Because we can.

But seriously most of those are people who are just checking to see if the game is actually worth buying, kindof a try before you buy.

1280x1024 settings: High/with Very High tweaks AA/AF x2 FPS while standing looking out over the sea: 50

FPS while in a firefight go from 30-40 usually around 34 (obiviously there are exceptions where I go into the 20s)

I have a Q6600 @ 3ghz an 8800gt and 2Gb DDR2 ram

I wish people would stop complaining about the performance of crysis - It's no where NEAR as bad as people say, and when you actually look at what your getting, well its an amazing looking game and TBH very well optimised.

So if you have a rig similar to mine and your not getting very good fps, it's either vista or a very badly kept PC

(I run XP pro)

People exaggerate about crysis, its actually REALLY well optimised considering how awesome it looks. I run it near max (Dx9) on my 8800gt and I ran it mid/some high with my 7600gt so I would say yeah you can run it.

maybe not very high settings but definatly medium i would think (on dx9)

omg I can't believe this, I could NEVER play ANY game (except maybe crysis :P) below my monitors native res (1280x1024) it just looks horrible unless you have mega AA/AF which slows it down anyway

well personally i love the singleplayer in most RTSs, but hate the multiplayer the only tactic you need to win in any multiplayer RTS ever is rush..rush and more rush

i prefer TBS now because it gives you time to actually think up a strat other than rush
