@deliman And guns do? So the gun implanted the idea into the guys head? The gun is as much to blame as the video game is. Neither influenced violence, the individual did.

@capedbear REAL people kill other REAL people. Set a REAL gun down in front of you I bet it doesn't kill you. Now, place that gun in the hand of some psychotic moron and see what happens. Everyone needs to stop pointing fingers at every little thing. Its not guns, its not games, its not music, its f'n people.

@Imperiacommando Majority of pro gun owners have been around guns all their life and have actually been through concealed carry courses etc. How many shootings have you seen the individual being a licensed concealed carry holster? 0. People need to stop blaming rights and objects for someones actions. Also, blame the media for giving the criminal weeks and weeks of face time for their actions.

@johnnyauau Yes, everyday we run around shooting at each other and have celebratory fire just like they do in the middle east. None of these shootings have anything to do with NRA or gaming industry, its the individual who ruins it for the others and a blame game which happens all the time in government. And some schools in the US do have armed police guards due to gang violence. However, a majority of what you said just looks like random babbling so you can get your post count up. Good contribution.

@johnlyw Because the gun industry is not responsible for the shootings just like the gaming industry isn't. It would be like Sam Adams blaming vehicle manufacturers for drunk driving accidents. Neither of the objects are to blame, its the people behind them and their life leading up to that point.

@chibi-acer @BontaKun94 a 20 year old who had an underlying mental issue, same with the other shootings. Has nothing to do with video games or guns. The average kid or adult who uses a weapon or plays a violent video game does not lash out and start killing people. Its the individuals who have problems knowing right from wrong, want attention, and have an underlying cause which always comes out later in the investigation.

@madjack1812 , The US has GUN FREE ZONES as well, guess where the majority of shootings are? Gun free zones. You have a background check done upon purchase of any gun in the US and selling a gun to a minor or anyone who pops hot for a criminal check makes you responsible and can land you in jail. It comes down to shitty parenting and mental issues which ends up being apart of every mass shooting. Legit gun owners who attend classes and have concealed caries have not gone on mass shooting sprees. Its the f'n retards who have daddy/mommy issues.

@X_CAPCOM_X I own a gun, I know a lot of people who own guns. In fact, you never hear of anyone with a concealed carry going on mass shootings sprees, weird. When you look at the root cause of every mass shooting there were easy signs the shit was going to happen. Individuals had a crap home life and parents didn't care for them or they had underlying mental issues and nothing was done to stop it ages ago. You want something to blame, blame the parents and the media.

Morgan Freeman said it best. "You want to know why. This may sound cynical, but here's why. It's because of the way the media reports it. Flip on the news and watch how we treat the Batman theater shooter and the Oregon mall shooter like celebrities. Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris are household names, but do you know the name of a single victim of Columbine? Disturbed people who would otherwise just off themselves in their basements see the news and want to top it by doing something worse, and going out in a memorable way. Why a grade school? Why children? Because he'll be remembered as a horrible monster, instead of a sad nobody. CNN's article says that if the body count "holds up", this will rank as the second deadliest shooting behind Virginia Tech, as if statistics somehow make one shooting worse than another. Then they post a video interview of third-graders for all the details of what they saw and heard while the shootings were happening. Fox News has plastered the killer's face on all their reports for hours. Any articles or news stories yet that focus on the victims and ignore the killer's identity? None that I've seen yet. Because they don't sell. So congratulations, sensationalist media, you've just lit the fire for someone to top this and knock off a day care center or a maternity ward next. You can help by forgetting you ever read this man's name, and remembering the name of at least one victim. You can help by donating to mental health research instead of pointing to gun control as the problem."Maybe if parents would start disciplining their children and people would start being held responsible for their f'n actions this crap wouldn't happen. But no, lets blame an inanimate object for the cause of all our problems because obviously a gun is the whole reason we have shootings. Morons. Maybe we should ban vehicles since we have so many deaths on the US highways each year.
