This study puts a loaded shotgun in the hands of the enemies of videogames.

It does not matter if there are issues or disclaimers, the anti gaming folks will love this. Its a study from scientists, though the antigames do not need research to push their agendas.

I would also would like to know the age group too.

I am curious if any of the anti games groups pick this up.

There was a TED talk that covered some benefits to playing videogames.

I don't know if I have the link.

When I redo my system, I will dual boot XP and windows 7. Might just go to windows 7 because the writing is on the wall for XP. Wait, not that wall, this other wall. XP's time is limited, can only hold on to it for so long.

Bring on the well done studies, lets do away with the BS and garbage and lets get the Truth. Am tired of the stuff from Jack Thompson and the colonel guy who says FPS games are murder simulators. I bet some of you are tired and cringe when some teen or adult goes nuts and wait to see if a game can be blamed. Heaven forbid we find out that a person went nuts and caused havoc and had multiple accounts to Maple story and Flyff. Lets get the Truth so we can move on.

> Windows Vista taught Microsoft a lot about what not to do when launching a new operating system. Don't launch an operating system with shoddy driver support. Don't launch an operating system that's ridiculously slower than your last operating system. And finally, don't launch an operating system that requires a huge memory upgrade to run as well as the operating system it's replacing. > Well, like DUH! And how many times has Microsoft updated their OSes not to know this? I will keep my XP and dual boot my machine with XP and Vista or Windows 7. Maybe Microsoft should be like Blizzard and release an OS when its done and not when the bean counters say its done. Could save a lot of trouble for them and us. I have a mac and updated to Leopard and it was painless, heck, I almost fell asleep on the install. Well not really but after the install stuff just worked. Not going to go the mac, got too many pc games to be fussing with them on the mac and that goes for Linux/Unix too. So its the Devil I know but it would be nice not to be pitchforked so often.
