@twc353 The difference is, Ezio's three games are incredibly similar and came so very quick with eachother.

The Mario games are all different, and never the same within a short time (except NSMB2/NSMBU)

The thing is, yes these games are established franchises. Yes, they may be Mario. However, they are by no means stale and they aren't "nostalgic", except maybe the Zelda sequel. They are all different kinds of games, and all have been a long while since their last iteration (at least 2 years)


Nintendo produce new IPs all the time, and they don't sell. Maybe if people like you lot bought them, then they wouldn't rely on Mario so much for their business to actually run.

@AmnesiaHaze No. Nintendo were forced to do this by German law enforced by a body that has now agreed that the Parental Controls are sufficient. This has NOTHING to do with Nintendo's philosophy else it'd have been in ALL regions, not just Europe.
