I bought the Gx2 2 weeks ago for BFG OC version (680mhz) for 525, and Its really not that much of an improvement unless u have a 30in LCD monitor and play in huge resolutions. Though I play on a 20in, so the gx2 is more then enough. For an extra 150 dollars This card isnt worth the pricetag unless ur one of those people who have to have the newest and best of the best.

Both of you do realize you can build a gaming rig for under 1000 dollars that is going to run crysis on high settings? If your still running an old agp system then I think this would help persuade you too do an upgrade. Recently about 1 month ago I built a new rig for a little 800 dollars. I have an amd ahtlon 6000+ x2 dual core 3.0ghz processor, 2gb crucial ballistic ram, 8600 GTS, 120 gb sata drive, 650 watt BFG power supply, and windows xp. It will run crysis great on medium settings, it can run it on all high but not during firefights. Though I didnt build my new pc for crysis, just to handle the new games in general. Too those people who are literally blowing thousands of dollars to run this game Ill give you a few pointers. 1. There is absolutly no need to be running a quad core right now at all. 2. There is absolutly no need to be running dual or even triple SLI Mode GTX cards too run crysis. your getting an extra 10 frames for each 500 dollars you spend which isnt even close to worth it. 3. IF your running windows xp there is no need to have more then 2gb of ram, and for vista no more then 4. I swear some of you guys just have too much money then you know what to do with. IF you were smart you would wait for the 9800 series cards, but ull probably be buying them right when they come out anyways.

No video card / current system on the market is going to run Crysis perfect with everything on the highest possible settings / resolution. This game is ahead of its time. Ive heard rumors that the 9000 series cards are suppose to be 2x as powerfull as the 8800 series. Either way dont expect to run this game with both incredible Graphics and FPS because nothing on the market is going to run this game. Too the people who are buying 3 GTX graphics cards, you obviously have too much money. lol
