@noladem504 @RyoEspada Yeah I definitely agree with you I loved every FC game that I played so far and there's pretty much always something different in every one of them and I really do hope that Ubisoft aren't going to make some silly mistake that would change my mind about the franchise.

@ramthegamer @RyoEspada I see GTA 4 as a game made to just test out the capabilities of a GTA game on the 360 and PS3 (then again there's the PC but I think the developers wanted to put some focus on making the game for the first time on those consoles) but yeah it was great for its gameplay and graphics at the time but now of course GTA 5 is going to come out soon and it looks hundreds of times better than GTA 4 because Rockstar can take in the best previous ideas that they had (like the things in GTA SA mixed with some things from GTA 4) and put them into the current gen consoles and gaming PCs without worrying about what they are capable of doing (then again I could be wrong haha).

I see that Ubisoft are measuring their need for a sequel to a game due to the success of the previous one which seems very natural for every game developer however its very likely that its a bit too soon I mean FC3 was an amazing game but they need to spend their precious time making FC4 for at least 3-5 years perhaps? What makes a good game is the new and brilliant ideas that are put into it after a good amount of time is spent making it. This is my opinion but Rockstar are a good example of a company that takes their time to make awesome games and it definitely pays off once they are released as you get a game that you get your moneys worth. All I'm looking for now is a release date for FC4 until I can judge anything about it but its likely that it might not be very good or it would be similar to FC3.

@Grenadeh @RyoEspada Ok I'm just suggesting on the idea that its about all gamers and not individuals who are fortunate enough to have five consoles, a gaming PC and great internet connection you know congrats and good for you but its not going to work for everyone since not everyone can go to a stage where they can afford a gaming PC so that's why we have consoles. Me personally I just have my Xbox 360 and some other older consoles and to be completely honest I don't want it to be online because I hate the features that I get when playing online but hey that's just my personal opinion I just play games for the fun with single player and if I want to play with my friends I go to their house take along some games and have fun as I'm really not that much into being frustrated online. However this is just me with my own opinion but when making consoles everyone has to be considered.

@Grenadeh @RyoEspada Not completely everything its just the things that as a gamer you might need in order to have fun you know being able to go offline and enjoy playing without any internet connection errors and I forgot to mention that you know we haven't actually seen much official information on what the new Xbox is going to be like so again the whole used game idea can be a rumour I'm just suggesting what if it could happen but I have hope that Microsoft is not that stupid to not learn from their mistakes made in the past.

@lex_in_the_moon @RyoEspada That's a really good point it could be that sales of games for Xbox might not be as high as the PS4 (if they are going to keep used games) but I would think that the new consoles would keep prices of new games that are released for multiple consoles similar although it would always be questionable on the idea that the new games might not be affordable but of course a customer would always be willing to buy a game that's cheaper on one console (PS4) rather than another (Xbox)

Hahaha I just love how the next Xbox is like the opposite of the PS4 I mean everything that PS4 seems to be doing right the Xbox is doing it wrong. But still it remains to be seen what happens with the next gen consoles it all could be just rumours. Keeping on topic I see why its a problem for companies in terms of having used games but for myself most of the time I cant afford to buy new games so I just go for used well there's always the occasional game that I buy that is used only if its worth the money. For a company like Bethesda I've spent my money to buy their games in new condition because the games never fail to deliver quality and long lasting fun that's worth the money. In the end though if anyone were to completely destroy used games in the future then the new games have to be affordable or else gaming industries would go into complete chaos.

This is an absolutely amazing game and it does so many things right its unbelievable. The review of 9.0 is completely spot on and Ubisoft really have done a great job.

But I keep on looking at the comments on recent games and just thinking why are people so obsessed with the graphics of a video game?? I mean I think on what is going to happen with video games in 10 or 20 years time and people would probably expect to look outside their window and then see the exact same thing in their games (you know realistic shadows, realistic environment, realistic anything and whatever). Well it could happen but a game is no good if all it does is look pretty and realistic when its gameplay is actually terrible.

For me its all about the gameplay and how much fun I would be able to have when I play my games as I dont really look at things like moving plant life and realistic water textures or amazing shadow details as to be completely honest I never cared to notice. Crysis is a good example of a type of game that has good graphics and I have played it even though it looked great I finished the campaign and felt that the enjoyment that I got was well...meh and this is just my opinion dont get me wrong but all I was left with was a visually great looking video game and a lot of flaws or problems for the rest of it (troublesome multiplayer, decent story and ok gameplay). Referring back to FC3 if I had a choice from shooters such as BF3, COD, MOH, Crysis and etc I would really choose Far Cry for what it does gameplay-wise and the amount of valuable content that it has to offer. Games such as COD don't amaze me anymore since after COD 4 every other COD was pretty much the same with some improvements made to multiplayer so I just gave up on that franchise. Well in the end this is all just my opinion and I hope people can respect the fact that I'm just expressing what I have on my mind.

I've noticed that whenever Criterion has something to do with a Need For Speed game it would usually get pretty decent/good reviews or just generally a positive reception however when its just EA Blackbox developing the more recent titles e.g. The Run then the outcome is not so great. The score of 7.5 is pretty much on the spot for this game (would have given it a 8.0 but hey thats just my opinion right?) still I would say kudos to Criterion for developing another good Need For Speed title.
