Well I already own a Wii U, so I guess my second choice is the PS4.

Nintendo Direct is the only E3 related event worth watching.

Definitely play Alan Wake with a controller.  I prefer mouse and keyboard for third person games, but it felt akward with alan wake.  Playing it with controller didn't take away from the experience at all as I found it to be more of an immersive game.  If you have a 360 controller, plug that sucker in.  I enjoyed Alan Wake alot.

Thanks for the advice. I only have a battery powered 360 controller so I don't think I can use that :( Would a dual shock work?

Good news buddy.  You can use either.  Only thing though, if you want to use both wirelessly, you have to get the receievers for them.

A wireless 360 controller can still work if you get the dongle adapter to plug into one of your pc's usb ports.  You would have to buy this to make you wireless 360 controller work for your pc:  http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Microsoft-Xbox-Pc/dp/B0076GYM50/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1369610643&sr=8-2&keywords=360+wireless+pc+receiver

You'd have to buy a similar product for the dualshock 3, but you can start using the dualshock now if you just use the usb cable that you charge it with.  You simply need to install MotionInJoy.  It's a software that lets you use your dualshock on your pc.  It lets you use your dualshock for all sorts of things, including simulating a 360 controller, since both the 360 controller and dualshock have the same button layouts.

MotionInJoy you can get here on their official site: http://www.motioninjoy.com/

If you need help installing it, they have tutorial vids if you click on their "Help" Tab.  Or you can just watch youtube videos that teach you how to install it.  Just search for "installing motionInjoy" on youtube search box.

Either way, you can spend money for the receiever which is only $15 to make your wireless 360 work, or you can start playing with your dualshock right this moment for free if you use motionInjoy.

I personally have both, but I prefer my WIRED 360 controller.  It's just simple plug and play without worrying about batteries running out.  Either way, you're good to go bro.

Wow that is much appreciated! Gonna do my dual shock when I get home and buy a receiver when I get a chance.

Just bought this game through the Humble Bundle. The combat is very different and the placement of Alan on the screen makes running feel weird.
