I want to know how much THE LATEST 360's are, but I'm not really sure what they are called, also if you can tell me how much they are, could you also tell me what currency it is in ? Thanks alot... I'm a Xbox noob :D
Also a good point was brought up about backtracking. Today's FPSs don't have alot of backtracking unless it's a scripted event, or you're Farcry 2.
The biggest problem with modern FPS design isn't the level design, how the weapons handle, enemy AI, or even health regen. It's the fact that you don't lose enough if you die.
Halo started this trend. It had an extremely generous checkpoint system. It made dying more of an annoyance rather than something you wanted to avoid. I've been playing CoD games lately to get ready for BO and I've realized that they can be quite difficult on harder difficulty settings. However there are so many checkpoints and save points that dying doesn't produce any real negative consequences which makes it just annoying. In fact I can argue that CoD 4 on veteran is one of the most difficult experiences ever. If you would put it back in the day where checkpoints happened much less often, the game would probably be considered the most difficult game ever made. However since you come back only 2-5 minutes away from where you died... dying just becomes frustrating.

Heh, theres no way you would ever find that outside of these forums.... I think people are just voting on it for no reason i.e. the same reason why resistance was put on the poll (for no reason). Which is what I am about to do lol *Votes for it*, yeah Insomniac need some loving, wait who am I kidding, they make absolutely horrible games !!! :evil: Haven't they heard of something called a IP ? Sequels are for sqaures..
