I don't know but QT7 is just better than WMP and there is a reason why most HD trailers are posted in H.264 HD.
I am on a PC right now, but use Macs from time to time at the University and Microsoft WMP support for Mac OS X is laughable. HD doesn't work and streaming is a pain in the a**. I don't know but when you are the biggest software firm in the world this is a pretty lame move. I mean if your so big isn't there a point where you just act like a good company and support your codec on all plattforms? (talk about not using their monopoly...)
Microsoft just stopped any further development of WMP for Mac!
Sorry, but this is just unacceptable. Microsoft has so much money and they just drop WMP for Mac? Sorry Gamespot, but just do the right thing and switch to Quicktime.
This is not about Apple vs. Microsoft. Quicktime is better (h.264) and it works perfectly on both plattforms and is the native iPod Video format which sold a hell of a lot more than the PSP.
With Microsoft just dropping WMP for Mac I really urge Gamespot to switch to Quicktime.
