After seeing some play through I actually started the game myself.

I like it. It's much harder than the first game.
Yes the game is an exact replica of the 1st game.

I honestly think that the game has issues with some bugs (but its not game breaking).
But these bugs prevents you from enjoying the game.

I think if you enjoyed the 1st game I would get Rip Tide as well.
If you didn't like the 1st game, def not worth your time.

game is awesome..

but no one decided "hey we are putting everything up... why don't we upgrade the sound engine and put a better version of music?" would of changed the "tone" of the whole game.

looks better.. but still sounds like an old game.

only cool think about this is that it's open ended.
but i'm sure there will be VERY successful independent game devs who will rise from this.

@tommygun6644 there is a theory.... that.... game reviewers are trying to please game companies because... there are game journalism awards created by game companies to enslave journalists.

i'm not saying alot of journalists are bought out, but seeing some of the reviews and game coverage i think..... there is something very fishy about some of the video game journalists lately.
