I think Britain would back up Canada over the US. We were a British colony that split from them peacefully. Canada and Britain have been extremely co-operative over the years, and Canada is part of the Britsh Commonwealth.

But yes, this would never happen. America's economy depends on Canada too btw. We're their biggest trading partner. If we stopped trading and co-operating with them the economy would feel it.

We have less than 180,000 soldiers deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq out of an active military pool of over 1.2 million. Do you think the soldiers stationed stateside on rotation are simply going to wave at the invading forces as they stroll by?

All that being said, I wouldn't taunt the Canadian military...Atleast the Canadians that agreed to actually go out and fight in Afghanistan instead of staying in bases.

It's not like the rest of the soldiers refused to be shipped over to Afghanistan. The Canadian military sent what they felt they needed.

And they've done a lot in Afghanistan considering their numbers.
