@BattleOverlord But stretching a console to its absolute limits is common place among late gen games. That is probably one reason why R* decided to have GTA V on the current gen. Well aside from the smaller amount of time they would have had to develop the game for the next gen. Calling old consoles of the still current gen garbage is more disrespectful to developers who are making the best possible games they can for all those who won't be able to get next gen consoles right away.

By releasing GTA V on the PS3 and 360, R* is showing the pinnacle of what this gen's consoles are capable of and also allowing themselves time to have the next generation released and learn how to develop the eventual GTA VI for the new limits that the PS4 and XB1 have. Another bonus is seeing what players liked from this game so that it can be tweaked or whatever for using in the next game. Can you imagine what GTA Online would be like on the PS4?

By giving the PS4 time to become commonplace among consumers while they develop GTA VI, you make both the next game better by having the developers learn what they can do with the console and more people are able to buy it when it does come out. PS4 and XB1 are more then likely to have shortages when they release anyway, so why push a massively popular game such as GTA V when there isn't a base on people who can play the game?

So please next time think that there are reasons for why businesses make their decisions.

@soulless4now @Rixxell Well I'm pretty sure it was said to be a worldwide launch when it does come out and considering the first of the 2 games in this remaster is 12 years old, it wouldn't make sense to launch at separate points.

I'm personally banking on a late December release that falls on the same anniversary as the initial US release, which was December 17. Of course this may be wishful thinking, but there isn't really many points in time this forth quarter that will allow X Remaster to not compete against other big releases when Japan has Lightning Returns and PS4 releasing in November. In the end, it will most likely be in either October or any point after November ends until March when SE ends their Calender year.

@soulless4now Yeah I bet more then anything that SE will announce the release date at the Tokyo Game Show in September. They've already waited this long, so why wouldn't they wait until they are on home turf when it is only one more month?
