People wonder why the industry is scared to make new IPs, because there are noobs on this earth who hold on to tradition and don't want change. TERA is revolutionary for the MMO world. C9 has already done this and it's FREE to play. Giving WoW a score of over a 9 and then giving this a score of 7.5 means there is something heinously wrong GameSpot.
Because 8/16 bit games are easy to make for independent companies because its cheap labor and doesn't require a lot of man hours. Indie game revolution has begun! I am a part of it.
I don't understand why a decade into the future, all game writers and designers believe the U.S. will be in heaps. I mean sure we're in a crap storm right now, but the future doesn't necessarily hold inevitable destruction. Anyways, hopefully treyarch can bring something fresh to the call of duty franchise.
So when I first thought about it I was like, "ewww they would put that in a video game?" Then I was like, "wait, I had sex with a guy and a girl in Fallout NV." Now I think, "Having homosexuality in a game offers one more choice that just makes it that much more realistic, because let's face it, there a homosexuals in the real world, why can't they exist in a fictional virtual one?" But honestly I dislike Mass Effect because of its clunky combat (take cover to vault over it anyone?), long story (abnormal right?), and terrible frame rate (in the demo atleast).
