yea, good points. The game's good, theres no doubt about it, and they're gonna be sqeezin' it for every last drop, just like Halo. Maybe they'll even make a movie, but that's going too far...
Gears of War, the award-winning, best-selling game that pretty much everybody loves. There's already a sequel coming out, as everybody knows, but ask yourself, how far will it go? In one of the previews, they said that in the first Act, they said the Locust were strenghened by the lightmass bomb. Will Gears of War sprout another sequel, a Gears of War 3? Will it make a strategy RTS like Halo? Let's just hope it goes real far, I love Gears...
Actually, in Star Wars Battlefront , the narrator reveals that when Vader and the Emperor took over, they destroyed the Kamino facility because they were breeding clones for the purpose of overthrowing the Empire, after they couldnt make more clones, they just recruited regular guys. The only pure clone legion was the 501st Legion that was directly under the command of Darth Vader.
I know exactly what I'm missing, dark dank areas, playing as big mindless brute with muscles and fast fluid action against aliens (whoooopie doo) and a multiplayer that didn't captivate me te first time round.
It just doesn't appeal to me, especially when I look at things like Fallout 3 and Dead Space. I like my games to have kind of intelligence to them, Gears Of War is just.... shoot till it's dead.
