Hey people, I bought counter-strike and installed it along with HL2, and made a steam account. I then reformatted my hard drive and tried to reinstall cs but couldnt find the cd key as it had been on my pc for about 2 years. Anyway, I bought another copy of the game over the internet and made a new steam account, now im trying to install my hl2 copy aswell but steam wont let me as its connected to my other account, the details of which i havent typed in since about 2 years ago. :S i dunno what to do, i got my new Counter-strike game and its working fine but i really dont wanna buy another HL2 copy.
I could probably find my old steam account details tbh, would their be a way to use those details to put the cd key from that account to my new one?
[QUOTE="Lucif666"]then save your game just before you exit the sewers into the real world then you can create your character and everything without having to restart the tutorial yeh, doin this saved me some time and stress.it probably does. never thought about it myself...
I just wanna ask if you think the tutorial at the start is pretty pointless and boring. I hate going thoruhg it each time i make a character.

I can't remember if it was Wolfenstein 3D or some old 'Red Baron' game. It was a LONG time ago... I think I was about 6 years old.tsb247
lmao ure sig made me laugh out loud man.
does anyone else remember those apogee shareware games? they were some of the earliest games i played along with doom. commander keen, that raptor jet game, good days.
but snes was best for me back then.
Do a google search for Hiren's Boot CD, there's a couple of utilities on there that will let you bypass Windows' passwords, gain Admin access for future needs.cablemodemx2yeh you can get past it in different ways.
You could probably buy both pretty cheap now days, they're both brilliant games and you could pay about £30 for both of em. If not, to be honest I would go with Counter-strike 1.6, or source if you prefer that.
[QUOTE="dnuggs40"]"I always believed that it's the hand that kills, not the knife." Profound words! I feel the same way (obviously).the_ChEeSe_mAn2
Much like the quote "Guns don't kill people. People kill people". Again it goes back to the point of that people chose to dedicate time to WoW and it is up to them to solve it, not blame it on Blizzard for making an "addicting" game.
bloody hell man calm down its a computer game, this aint philosophy time.Hey people, I (stupidly) downloaded the World of Warcraft trial and thought it was such a great game. I didnt get addicted or nothing but was playing a good 2 hours a day, and loving it. I really would by this game but I just cant be bothered with the £9 a month subscription fee. Dont come postin on this thread saying 'dont be so tight, just pay the 9 pound fee, its worth it blah blah' Im just not really in a financial position for that kinda thing right now, maybe later, but not now.
So after lookin around for a bit i come accross Guild Wars, seems like a pretty good solid game with a similar concept behind it as World of Warcraft, and the no subscription fee means I got no problems about buying it. I was wondering if anyones got this game or played it and what you really thought of it? It would be a plus if you've played WoW too and can compare the two, thanks for any help.
