What a huge dissapointment. Hopefully the next announcement is Half Life 3
Raziel831991's forum posts
I still remember the days back when I was hyped for Half Life 2 Episode 3. I wonder what happened with the development of that game.
I don't care if it's anticipated. FFXIII was even more anticipated and it was awful. Like I said FFXV looks just like it, with a different coat of paint[QUOTE="Couth_"][QUOTE="StrongBlackVine"]
FFXV is one of the most anticipated game for next gen consoles so you are wrong.
StrongBlackVine
They aren't going back to old school JRPGs if that is what you mean. Doesn't FFXV have real time combat so how can it be same?
Yes, it does have real time combat and by the way simply because FFXIII sucked doesnt mean FFXV will since its being developed by a completly different team. Final Fantasy XIII was developed by the Final Fantasy X team, Final Fantasy XV is currently being developed by the Kingdom Hearts 2 team.
[QUOTE="StrongBlackVine"][QUOTE="WilliamRLBaker"] lol no.WilliamRLBaker
You'll see. It is the most popular game and forum on Gamefaqs for next gen consoles already despite being more than year away.
........................................LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOLOLOOLOLOLLLOLOLOLOL bubububububbububuu bubububbu on a website thats pretty much dedicated to jrpgs its beating out other games...bubububbububu Please that pretty much amounts to saying on rpgamer.com an rpg is beating an fps in a poll. God you are such a fvcking moron blackvine since day one you've been this pittling little shit of a moron never making a worthwhile point ever, and trying to claim your a new user instead of an alt.You sound pretty mad.
And by the way the footage shown at E3 of FFXV got a very positve reception by most gamers. I dont know if its one of the most anticipated titles of the next generation but I can safely say that quite a lot of people have a positive opinion of the footage shown of FFXV.
[QUOTE="Jankarcop"]I agree with most of those statements-Rare and Lionhead and other killed companies still producing quality games
-Several franchises saved (ghost recon, dues ex 2, etc.)
-FPS not casualized
-No movie-games
-No super DLC milking
-No online milking with advertisements
-Indy gaming flourishing more
XBOX is the cancer of gaming.
lowkey254
I agree with Jankarcop as well
Hold on a second, Skyrim had a good story? Have we played a different Skyrim?
Demons souls is still the king of this generation.
[QUOTE="Raziel831991"]I see you havent played many games, the maps in the Last of Us arent in any bigger than those in your avarege linear game, sure it does have some areas that are more open but most linear games also have those from time to timeBoxingandGamingYou got it twisted Even the smaller levels in Last of Us are still bigger and more open than the average levels in your typical linear AAA games like Gears/Halo/Bioshock. WHEN the levels get bigger in Last of Us, they then become much bigger and much more open than even the BIGGEST linear levels in typical AAA linear games like Gears/Halo etc What you need to realise is that the Last of Us has more open environments with multiple routes for the sandbox combat, and has larger envirnoments for the scavenging that you need to do in order to find the items which are spread around. Every gameplay mechanic flows into one another like water too (the exploring and scavenging to find an item-crafting item in real time to supplement combat, kicking ass in combat in a many variety of ways etc) Even more, it all fits the narrative/story perfectly. Last of Us is the BEST DESIGNED game ive ever played. Naughty Gods indeed! The ONLY truly "LINEAR" thing about Last of Us is that you move from point A to point B...which that will bring us to the next point
The only map in The Last of Us that I found fairly big is the one where Ellie supports you with a sniper rifle. All others are just as small as other linear games. Yes it might be bigger than gears of war but nowhere nearly as big as Halo 1, 2 and 3 (havent played the others) and this is coming from someone that hates Halo. Halo has fairly big maps, specially the ones where vehicles are involved, in fact if you knew what a sandbox game is, you would know that Halo despite being linear, it does have a few maps that somewhat resemble to those of a sandbox game. And for your information a sandbox game is a "free roaming" game that doesnt have "walls"that prevent exploration and The Last of Us has plenty of those. And I dont care whether the combat is brutal or not, whats important is that both the gunplay and melee combat are shallow as hell and extremly repetitive. Yes every game is about going from point A to B, however in games like Skyrim you can just stop doing the main quest and do sidequests or go exploring, in other words it gives the player freedom, something The Last of does not, since the whole game is a linear path and doesnt allow the player anything else other than following the path the game establishes for you. As for the story, I think everything was rather generic, from the setting to the characters. And by the way stop calling people xbots simply because they did not like the Last of Us. Like I said Im a Sony fan,but that does not mean I have to enjoy every single sony exclusive. Im currently playing Puppeteer, its a ps3 exclusive and Im loving, its beatiful, chariming and wildly imaginative.
Also I think Im tired of disscusing this with you, you can answer this post if you want, but do not expect me to answer you back.
oh yes, and a few fight fanf@ggots asked for crap killerinstinct rehash, panzer nothingness and forza blurred edition right? Killzone will probably be better than most.[QUOTE="MBirdy88"][QUOTE="treedoor"]
MS hasn't moneyhatted a bunch of indie devs to make games for the Xbox One like Sony has with the PS4.
Probably because MS's current announced exclusive line-up is rather stellar. No need to try and boost the launch library. On the other hand Sony's #1 exclusive is Killzone 4. Killzone... A series people stopped asking for long ago.
You want to know what it says about a system's library when Killzone is the #1 exclusive game? It says the library of that system sucks.
treedoor
Killer Instinct has been a highly-requested game since MS originally bought Rare.
Too bad its being made by a developer that is absolutely terrible, I know that there are some Rare people working on the game, but lets be honest Rare is a shadow of what it used to be. Meanwhile Guilty Gear Xrd is exclusive to the playstation brand.
