It's pronounced Tea-dus (Tidus). The way it is spelled makes you think Tie-dus (relayed to the tide of water.) Tea-dus (Tidus) is Okanawin for sun, When coming up with the name Tidus(Tea-dus) for FFX, they had no realization of the western name Tidus(Tie-dus) and it's relation to water. You must realize that much of Final Fantasy X has an Okanawin and other asian islander theme to it. In fact Yuna's name mean moon in Okanawin, Tidus(sun) Yuna(moon). I hope this help clarify why his name is pronounce differently.You must also remember this is a Japanese game.Revan84

All my friends tell me that legend of Zelda is awesoem, but when I was younger I had a PS so i never got to experience Ocarina of Time. I want to start playing them, but is buying an N64 worth palying Ocarina of Time? What should I start out with?
Come on. I mean FFX was a challenge, but Kingdom Hearts? I mean, I know its an awesome RPG but you could just level up in the coloseum and reach high levels. But if you're including the extra bosses, YES, the game is brutal. Oh yeah, Kingdom Hearts is NOT A FF
