It has nothing to do with glitches. I guess it's the time of the year. Many people go on vacations, visit friends and family etc.

I've been trying to put in images in my blog description. When I do so, and hit apply changes, the text (normal text) remains there, but the image URL and codings disappear.

The only image I could put up is the blog header. So no additional images.

Just wanted to bring that under your attention.

For how long are they gone already?

Everyday the level and update collection updates. In this process some emblems will just vanish.

Please wait 24 hours before reporting a vanished emblem. Sometimes they come back after the level update has been done.

I have lost my "PC aficionado" and "readers choice 2007 chooser" badges. I just turned now to lvl 21 and I still dont have them.

True, but however there's a way to see it on 1 condition. These comments are counted as forum posts also on the other CNET sites. If you never used TV.com and never posted on a forum there, then you can count the amount of forum posts you made there (shown on profile) as your comments on GS. ;)

That's how I did it. Just posting comments on peoples blog rises your post count as well, on all CNET sites.

I just tested it for you and seriously it works as it should work for me. Try it again please and if it still seems to happen for you then I can't help anymore.

And no it hasn't been reported before for as far as I know. I haven't seen any topic the same as this on the previous pages.

Have you refreshed your inbox and checked if you didn't skip any messages?

Also, known from what happened in the past, it sometimes just happens that you're told to have a few PM's and and really none are there.

In that case it's a technical issue, that usually gets fixed pretty fast.

I don't seem to have it either. I remember this happened a few months ago as well, didn't happen to me back then as well. Like AC said it's most likely a glitch.

Apparently my About Me section in my profile has disappeared. I'm not sure when, but it's definitely not there anymore at all. Bug? Glitch? Random oddness?cell_dweller
