I have been so sick of super hero movies for such a long time nowthemajormayor
I feel they will be looked upon as we see 80's horror movies now, some decades after now, like one of those "gee, people really watched a lot of those kind of movies back in the 2000s/2010s!".

Maybe, maybe not. But why not just discuss this in the other upcoming Batman/Superman movie thread?megagene
I felt the subject matter of this topic was different enough and I didn't want to derail it. INB4 gargus: One topic is about the movie actually happening, the other is about whether or not the Nolan style batman would work, and teases the (terrible) possibility of a more childish characterization of batman.

[QUOTE="ROD"]With the recent announcement of a Batman & Superman movie, I can't help but wonder... If this is the Nolan-style batman, I just don't see it working. The Nolan batman is just too gritty and kind of "realistic" to co-exist with a guy who can fly, throw trailers and use heat vision. Plus there is the whole "where the hell where you when batman needed you?" question. A more childish batman (thing, the George Clooney batman movie) could probably work, but that particular characterization of batman is terrible...dercoo

lol, not what I had in mind :p

Wait, I think your nose may get bigger as you get older. My dads nose looks a lot bigger than it did in his old pictures from the late 60s.

The_Lipscomb
Indeed. Your nose and ears never stop growing.

Super Mario Bros' 1 st level music is instantly recognizable... so is the second level music. And actually, so is the super Mario 64 snow level music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7Wmd14GRbk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kI8jT7LmoNA Somehow I have a hard time remembering any of the superior, more recent video game BGMs....which happen to be non-MIDI.

when I was a teenager, is there any explanation for it?

Alienware_fan
Not kidding here: When I was a teenager I got a huge pimple/zit on the left side of the tip of my nose. When the pimple/zit was gone, that side of the tip of my nose was bigger. Not kidding you. It made me real worried. Eventually the other side grew and matched it, so now it's a-ok.

I'm new here, and I love the forums community here, especially after experiencing how horrible gamefaqs moderators (*cough cough* error1355 because I made fun of his MLP action figures) make the place. However, my threads here are getting locked for some reason. I made a thread about an article considering game collectors as hoarders and boom, closed. I made a thread asking about my computer getting blue screens and boom, closed too. What's going on? ~Rod

I think I could possibly. To be honest though I have a hard time seeing myself in the future beyond my present state in life (i.e. living with my parents).

That being said not having a "significant other" does not necessarily equate to being lonely, there are other relationships like family and friends.

1) How old are you? 2) How so? (Not being able to see yourself in the future beyond your present state of life).

[QUOTE="ROD"][QUOTE="Gargus"]

I spent 37 years of my life pretty much alone. I grew up on my grand parents farm and was alone, never had many friends and only 1 in my whole life I consider a true friend, never dated much, and so on. I was prepared and comfortable being alone the rest of my life.

But I met a girl a almost 2 years ago and she has become a big part of my life and I am glad she is in it. We fit together perfectly so Im pretty sure we will be together for a very long time and I like it. I dont think Id want to spend the rest of my life without her.

Gargus

How did you end meeting someone at 37, especially with not many friends? It's quite a story, considering most people are doom& gloom if they finish college without a girlfriend...

Online dating.

Insanely enough it was on craigslist of all places. But it was free to post an ad there so was I copying/pasting my profile from okcupid for a bit and she answered and we hit it right off first time we met.

Happy story, congrats! Funny how good 'ol craigslist worked better than a specialized site.
