Depends on what you are into. If you want to quest without worries go for a normal realm. If you want to make questing more exciting by random PvP battles breaking out or sometimes just getting ganked :( then go PvP. I'm on a PvP realm and most of the PvP action I do is in the Battlegrounds and Arenas because that's where you get the most points to drop on PvP items.

I mean an XBOX 360 has hardware that would be obsolete by computer standards 4 years ago, yet can run games that require a 3.0 GHZ and top of the line vid card on Vista.

The main reason for this is that console game developers can optimize the game for specific hardware since all of the XBOX 360s have the same hardware and PCs don't.

Yes you can build one cheaper....but who you going to call to fix it? OgreB

If you build your own PC I would hope you can fix it yourself.

I just keep my system evolving as new hardware comes out, you just have to plan for the future. I put about $500 a year into it and it stays able to play current games at max or near max settings in 1680x1050 resolution.
