well this article isn't going to instantly make you a whiz on everything Metal Gear but it s not meant to. It's more meant as a quick refresher of the story for those who have played it or to catch you up in vague terms on the story without spoiling too much if you've never played the other games and wish to jump straight into 4. In this it succeeds. Plus, it's an entertaining read.
If we're all lucky, E3 2007 will be so bad and bring such negative reactions that they'll decide to go back to the old ways, but I've always loved the mega-show atmosphere, the way I'll know everything there is to know about the next coming year's games in a week, and it's always been my dream to one day go to E3, but now all those things are lost. We should all do our best to provide lots and lots of negative feedback and hope that the publishers realise their huge mistake and bring back our beloved E3, but if they don't, RIP E3, we will always remember you.
