It never really gets scary, but the first few chapters are a little slow. Give it an hour or so more. Its an awesome game.

Does anyone else think that The Dark Knight should have been nominated for more Academy Awards? (Particularly Best Picture) I think that it got totally and completely robbed, and it almost seems like the Academy was looking for reasons to not nominate the movie.

whether you like it or not, Sony is not gonna drop out of the gaming business, they've invested too much to simply give up. nintendo failed badly with gamecube, but it didn't stop them from trying again and look what happened now. And less competition would mean overpriced products which are also less likely to make progression, and gamers would get the same old crap over and over again.Angry_PolarBear

Yeah, but no companies or articles actually advised you not to buy a Gamecube. I have read so many articles about how the PS3 is a wasted investment, a dying product, not a good place to put your money. They have invested a lot, and they have done a good job, but they really need to go back to the drawing board and completely rethink their console or it really is out of there. The majority of the people that I know bought the PS3 for Blu-Ray, and nothing else. They don't own games. If Sony keeps this up, they are literally going to screw themselves unless the next generation, they have a rapid comeback. I have a feeling that it isn't.

That's what I thought at first. But when I really thought about it, Sony has already said that they would be open to the idea of including a Blu-Ray Player with the next Xbox. I think it's a stretch, but a possibility.

The PlayStation brand, like it or not, is on its way out. The PS3 and the PSP are both failing in the console market, and Sony is losing money. How much longer can they hold on? I would say one more generation. Two, tops.

This topic is not in any way, shape, or form a slam against Sony or its consoles. I love my PSP, and although I don't have a PS3, I wish I had one but I don't have that much money lying around. It would be a shame for them to leave the console market.

Thinking about this, however, brought me to a conclusion. Since the 360 and PS3 are essentially the same console (argue about it all you want, but you can never prove that wrong), I think that one of them needs to drop out of the console race (if you want to call it that), and it certainly isn't going to be Microsoft, because their sales are booming this generation, and I would guess it's only up from here.

Since Sony is losing money from this deal, they are most likely looking for a way to a) fix this problem, or b) get out of the console market without disappointing fans. I know there are some of us out there who are so dedicated to our console that we would NEVER cross the boundary and buy a console made by the competing company. Guys, wake up. We are basically fighting a civil war. We win if both Sony and Microsoft deal with this correctly, and they do want to make us happy.

My idea is this. Sony and Microsoft need to join forces to create the next generation console. I'm not saying that they both pitch in for the actual creation of the system. I would leave that to Microsoft, seeing as how they are doing better this generation. I'm sure that some of you are outraged that I am even suggesting that, but hear me out. Sony won the High Def format war last year, and that's where they come in. They need to incorporate the Blu-Ray capability with the next Xbox. That way, Sony gets a slice of the gaming pie, Microsoft makes another console, and we all win because there would be none of this PS3 or 360 exclusive garbage. We don't have to buy two separate consoles that are essentially the same to play the few exclusive games that we just have to play. We pay one price and get all the fun.

Now of course, some of you are opposed to the idea, some of you think that this is a great idea, and some of you think that this could never possibly happen because of the size of Sony's and Microsoft's egos, which we all know are WAY too big to swallow. I say they need to chew on those egos until they can swallow them, because they would be satisfying their own needs as well as our needs. I invite every single one of you to comment on this, because I am seriously interested in what you have to say.

As a side note: I would miss the heated debates on internet forums about which console is better and why. I love reading those.

And another thing. I would guess that over half the sales of the PS3 were solely because of the Blu-Ray capability. Sony knows this, and, if they really sat down to think about it, they would realize that they would save so much more money if they dropped the Playstation and focused on Blu-Ray Players, TVs, etc. They care about making money, not about pleasing fans.

Well the PS3 is dying, even the Sony fanboys cannot deny that. CNN has called it a "Sinking Ship" and I have read in many different places that the PS3 sales really stunk this year, regardless that this was the year of MGS4 and LittleBigPlanet. Playstation may be running its course. If you really think about this, the 360 and the PS3 are essentially the same console. One of them is going to "lose" eventually, and it's really looking like the 360 is taking over. We don't need both of these consoles. I personally think that Sony did a good job with the PS3 but they made too many mistakes and they put it on the shelves too late. If you hardcore Playstation gamers are never going to convert to the 360, you may be stuck playing your PS3 for the rest of your life, because right now, it's not looking like there is going to be a PS4.
