@larkin-54 @Pereb27 That's what I'm saying. It's GDDR5, not DDR5, the latter doesn't exist. GDDR5 is designed for GPUs, not CPUs (it has higher bandwidth at the cost of latency, however CPU doesn't need such bandwidth and the latency will become a bottleneck for it).
Also, more RAM doesn't magically make the GPU perform better. What happens when you put too much ram is that the extra memory is not utilized, resulting in no performance increase at all. The PS4's GPU will most likely use 2-3GB of that RAM at best.
