x-com was 33% on steam and they put it in flash sales again with 33%, that does not make sense.

I noticed that too. It's one of the games I wanted the most and was really hoping to see it hit 50%. I'm looking at the sale on getgamesgo.com, but am afraid without having the US option for the country, something could go wrong.
Don't panic if you miss something good, they often bring back all the most popular deals on the final day.

That is actually great to hear. I was hoping they would do something like that. My wife wanted me to buy Torchlight 2 for her, but by the time she told me she wanted it the 50% off sale was over. Hopefully it's one of the games they bring back for the last day of the sale. If they don't, I'll still buy it at $15 for her. I figure it doesnt hurt to wait a few days if there is a chance I can get it for $10.
My top 5 would have to be: Red Dead Redemption, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Batman: AC, Portal 2, Torchlight 2. Honestly it was pretty hard to narrow down just to five games. There were another 5 games I wanted to put down. I just ended up randomly picking five games from my top ten, lol.

It's not just you. I can't get onto the website and my Steam downloader wont load. It went down about 7:20 EST. Seems to be fixed now. Yeah I checked a little bit ago and it was working for me. Back to the shopping spree. :)
So far I bought Batman AA and AC, since they were in the flash deals at 75% off yesterday. I noticed they are still on sale, but since they are off the flash sale list they are only 50% off. I'm hoping we see XCOM and Torchlight 2 get a big discount. Kinda doubt XCOM will get much lower, though since it's a pretty new game.
Cool, thanks for the quick reply guys. I wasn't sure if I should start picking up the games in my wishlist or wait and see if they get deeper discounts. I am definitely going to hold off and see what happens.
I understand a game wont get a bigger discount because it's on my wishlist. I probably wrote what I meant wrong, sorry. What I am wondering is, could something that is on sale for 30%, but isn't advertised as a Flash deal or a daily deal get advertised later in the sale for a deeper discount. For example, I see Walking Dead for sale at 25% off. Could it be put up as a daily deal or a flash deal for even cheaper during the Holiday Sale?
Now that the Steam sale started, I went over to the site and seen the sales for today on the front page. I went to my wishlist and noticed everything on my list is on sale. I haven't had much experience with Steam or their sales, so I don't quite know how the sales work. My question is, can games that are on sale in my wishlist, but not listed in the flash deals or todays deals come up with a deeper discount in the next few days?
