Toot toot...all abord the money train... :(
Not a huge fan of the movies, cant imagine what the game would offer that would be intertaining.
Considering the system is just now in its full swing I would doubt that it would hit shelves in 2011. I think its more likely that they would start full gear development then. There simply is to much money to still be made.
I have never really played any of the RE game, I hear the old ones are great but my impressions from the demo are kind of...lackluster. Like just about everyone before stated it was highly annoying that I could not move and shoot. Its not so much that it made it difficult *which it did but I can live with that*
Its more that I played a spec ops type guy who for some reason could not so much as shuffle about. I agree that one should not be able to sprint around and shoot as thats pretty darn hard to do, but even police recruits can walk and fire a pistol. For me its more of the principal, a highly trained operative or just about anyone with any physical ability should be able to shuffle about while aming down the sights of a pistol.
As far as adding to the fear factor...Doom is one of the scarier games on the market and it was a "run and gun" for reasons unknown sticking to a single spot does not add fear to me, it adds frustration and lothing to a character who cant preform simple tasks.
Sorry thats kind of a rant but thats my reasons WHY I dont like the non-moving shoot idea, otherwise I enjoyed this game.
Recently many games have started to hit the shelves at reduced prices. I bought the new prince of persia for around 25 bucks at bestbuy and I have seen several other very new games for less than 30. I think developers are starting to see merit in releasing some titles for less to boost sales to people like yourself.
When talking about how much games once cost to how they cost now, remember to take inflation and the power of the dollar into account. Back when I played NES games cost 50+ dollars and THAT was a lot of money. Now-adays its only 10 bucks more but thats also with a weaker dollar. I would say the actual cost of games has gone down some. Not numerically but as a precent of my income, it is much easier to buy games.
I do agree that its strange how pc games are cheaper, but I wont complain as I play mostly PC :)
[QUOTE="xXTalismanXx"]Is anyone here getting bored with gears 2 like I am? I'm thinking of selling my copy, but what do you guys think?Jaysonguy
The game came out a month ago, you're not supposed to be still playing it
You should be playing something else, that's why they make new games
You play something else then come back to Gears 2 sometime down the line.
*smacks head* or maybe its the mentality that he should not be playing a game only a month after its release. I personally jump around game to game, but thats not because a new game is out, I just play what I'm in the mood for. Just shelf it for a bit and play call of duty or halo or what-ever other kind of game you like, then in a few weeks or a month or so pop GOW2 back in and if its still boring then consider selling it.
