I agree with Gamespot's decision.. the Xbox 360 clearly wins overall. I don't think the PS3 has demonstrated it's potential yet, so the Xbox 360 should be the preferred system for multiplatform games if graphics is your selling point. The 360 version is more often than not the better one.

Most of the games I have don't have long load times. The longest load times for me come from my favorite game, MLB '06: The Show. While there are long load times when you first start a game, the rest of the game is seamless, although at the end of the game it has to load up the menus again. These load times take about a minute each way, but it's totally worth it for the 30+ minutes of seamless gameplay. Nintendo consoles in general have non-existant load times, while PS2 and Xbox games lean on the load-heavy side. However, most of these have short load times, so it's no problem. Nothing hurts a game more than having to sit through load times. Each few seconds you have to wait for a load screen takes you out of the game experience that much more... Still, I guess that shows that a lot of gamers (like me) are impatient. Ah, well. Technology can't come soon enough!

My hope... Early October, $199, Wii Sports, and 2 controllers (with nunchuk attachments). 10-15 launch titles, and Zelda available at launch... along with Metroid 3 OR Mario Galaxy (Nintendo doesn't want to release their "big three" on us all at once... or do they!? You're crazy Nintendo... CRAZY!!) In reality I'm guessing along the lines of $220-$249, 1 controller, and early November (before the PS3 of course).
