Maybe the Final Fantasy Series should finish with 15 (as 14 will be online, so there will be one more "proper" game). The series has been going on for a long time, and while I wouldnt say it's being milked a la COD (which comes out with a new installment annually, whearas the last 3 major installments in FF have taken 4 years between them), I get the impression it's getting stretched out. It makes sense to finish the series on a relatively low number - it will look quite silly when it gets up to FFXXXVII. Then SE can put all their efforts into finishing the series on a high!

Is it possible to play this on the PC? I've read little tidbits around the internet of something called PCSX2 or something like that, but how does it actually work? Is it legal? Does it look as good as it does on PS2? Does it require a strong PC? and so on.

played about 1000 games on Halo 3, yet your K/D is still negative. Before saying that you need a game that takes 'serious' skill, at least have a positive K/D in the one you said 'only needs a little experience'

I always thought that was the thing with halo though, that you might be really good but have a negative KD because you'll be playing with other really good people (at least in ranked matches), and conversley, you could have a high KD because you're enver good enough to go against tougher people. I have a few friends who are ace at Halo, and one has a KD of 1.04, and the other one of 0.93. I have a higher KD than both of them, but both are far far better at the game than I am.

I must say I'm positively surprised by the responses. The vast majority of my friends prefer games like COD/Halo/other games which may not be fps but which definitely have guns as the main emphasis, and I was expecting (though not hoping for) a similar response on gamespot.

Hi all. I have always prefered swords in games rather than guns - I prefer fighting with them and the kind of games with swords in them tend to be mroe the kind that I like (eg. Zelda, Final Fantasy X, etc.) There are some shooter games that I like, but ultimately I've never found guns/explosives that cool.

This is NOT a poll on the merits. Obviously, a modern soldier with an assault rifle would kill a swordsman. It's a poll on which you prefer to have in games.

And please, no comments like "What if I prefer games with snowboards/footballs/dinosaurs etc." This is off topic and irrelevant, and this isnt the right forum for that kindof thing.

If you prefer bows and arrows/clubs/rocket launchers, then "other" is the right category :)

I've never played the uncharted series properly (only at a friend's). nor do I have a PS3, though I hope both of these things will change:P
