I beg to differ that Doom 3 (or the whole series) is better than Gears of War. To me Doom 3 felt like a game that was simply behind the times in every aspect except graphical performance, but to each his own I guess. :)

What was it that Doom 3 was the first to do?

In terms of games, yes. 100% of the way. Like I said, I've never found a console with that many games for it that appealed to me. As for the 360, don't get me started, so far I've seen nothing, aside from oblivion which I have for my laptop, worthy of buying it for.Sarge_Maximus2

Wow, I feel exactly the opposite. lol.

Gears Of War? :|

Sucks... imo. Doom 3 is better. GOW is like a cross between Doom and starcraft that left all the good parts out. Good graphics no doubt, but the game itself has a stupid plot, stupid characters, and dumb enemies imo.

I respect, and even understand your opinion about Gears of War...but you can't sit there and tell me that it has a bad plot, bad characters, and bad enemies...and say that Doom 3 (which epitomizes the things you disliked about Gears, and then some) was a good game!

What Wii should have done is create a controller that you don't have to be 12 and full of energy to use. I know a LOT of fat kids with Wii's and their like 'yeah man, it'll help me loose wieght!' And I'm just thinking, 'In your arms?' Plus, they never use the Wii for more than 10 minutes at a time because they start panting and huffing a lot. (It's actually quite funny) but anyway....Mario = kid's game, Nintendo = Kid games (with the RANDOM AS HELL AND CRAPPY horror/mature game), Mario = dead (my opinion), THUS, Nintendo = dead kiddy games that aren't fun unless you're 12.

Thye should have just ended it at Mario 21351235123. Mario 21351235124 was just a little over board.

Well, there are about eight million people who disagree with you. :P

The Gamecube controller wasn't perfect, but I liked it a lot better than the DuelShock 2 and The Duke.

I agree with GazzaB.

I give Nintendo points for effort, but I just don't see this motion sensing fad carying over into the next geneneration of gaming.

i fail to see the word exclusive anywhere in that quote...just says it'll be on xbox360 and vista.

nerdman60

True enough. I probably should have included another quote or two, but if you search around you'll find that the game is being developed specifically for the Xbox360 and Windows Vista. While a PS3 version is mentioned as being a possibility in the future, it's just that...a possibility. So for the time being, the game in question remains exlusive.

The next Final Fantasy MMO is going to be released exclusively for the Xbox 360 and Windows Vista, but apparantly it's old news.

"I know you can't tell us when Final Fantasy XIII is coming or whether it's going to go multiplatform, but maybe we can ask something you can answer. Are there any plans for more Xbox 360 support other than what has been announced?

Charlie: Well, we have already stated that the next Final Fantasy MMO will be for the 360 and Vista. That, along with continued support for Final Fantasy XI such as Wings of the Goddess, show that we will be working with the 360 quite a bit. Don't forget Project Silpheed and Last Remnant."

You think something like that would have been front page news on all of the major game sites if it had already been revealed. Oh well, better late than never I suppose.

Yeah, Half-life is my favorite FPS and one of my favorite games, period. Can't wait to play the sequel!

Yeah. I think I liked the Genesis a lot more than the SNES. I probably should have put it somewhere in my top 5.
