@Nibroc420 @nhall00195 more like bug fixes and push to purchase rather than significant "updates"

Weird that this article is immediately followed by "women in games" :)

Let's face it. Because gaming, for the longest time, has been dominated by males. It's very common to prefix it with something just so it would relate to females. Just like how shopping is treated. And by nature, females feel attached to different things than a male. Very seldom do the interest of both sexes intersect. You can't blame developers who continue to produce male-centric games either. Not if they don't mind the sales numbers. In my opinion, once female gaming population start to come close to male gamers, that's the only time we'll see improvement in the industry overall. It's practically useless to debate about it if so few ladies actually play games. No offense to Laura P. but i think addressing, rectifying, this issue at the current state is a waste of time. It won't benefit game developers to create games that have more female-inclined/reduced male-centric games because of the market. End result, lower revenues and the developers/publishers will die before we even get to the ideal point. I agree that it has to be fixed. I just dont think that time is NOW.

@Kevin: Nice one! I agree. The quality of villains degrades bit by bit. Hero x Villain = Level of engagement/attachment you have for the game. Why not include a Villain of the Year in Gamespot's Best of 2011? :D
