mw2 on veteran , farcry 2 on hardcore and midnight club le vegas

killev

MW2 wasn't as hard as World at War. I actually got through Veteran on MW2 with only 10 deaths or so. The worst part of the game (and the only parts that frustrated me) was the stupid part in the showers (before you rescue Price) and the last mission you play as Roach. Very difficult part that was.

The hardest game on 360, bar none, is Ninja Gaiden II. COD:WAW is also stupidly difficult; I got through most of the missions, but there were two or three I just couldn't force my way through on veteran.

Alright, I'm thinking of buying Starcraft II. Will it run good on this machine (my laptop).

Model: Dell XPS 1530

OS: Windows 7 Professional (installed from a clean install; not a crappy upgrade)

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 2.4 GHz

RAM: 4 GB

GPU: nVidia GeForce M7600

HDD: 250GB 7200 RPM

I install every game that I play regularly.

I do it simply for piece of mind; I've been through four 360s and anything that lessens stress on a critical component (the disc drive) is a boon for me. I have a 120gb Elite, so I always have plenty of space.

It works out for me because I typically only own between 2 and 4 games at any one time; I usually either sell or trade in the ones I beat and get finished with. Then I uninstall them.

If I'm at someone's house who doesn't have an extra HDTV, I'll use a SDTV. But I've owned a 360 since 2006 and I've always had high definition. I originally had a 24 inch HDTV that decided to crap out on me, so I got my money back and bought a 24 inch computer monitor that supported 1080i resolutions. It lasted me till last year (during that time I went through three 360s; one Pro which had a disc drive death, and two Elites that RROD) when it died and I bought a 26 inch Samsung 1080p "Computer Monitor in a TV disguise" that I still use. During which I went through ANOTHER RROD Elite that I just got back last Friday. So yeah. I have terrible luck.

I'd love to see the developers tackle a Mobile Suit Gundam game. Because Namco-Bandai is garbage at making those games.

I'm planning on selling my Elite. I've had it since 2007, and it got the Red Rings bout two weeks ago. So they shipped it back with a new motherboard. So I'll probably sell it for 200 bucks, or sell it for a bit more (250) and include some games with it. Then I'll buy the S. I'm really interested in the built-in WiFi. But, I'm also considering another option. Used wireless adapters run between 30 to 40 dollars on eBay. Those are the older A/B/G adapters, which is all I need, since my mother's house (I don't live in an area with high-speed access, so I'd have to use it at her house or at college when I stay with friend's in their dorms) is equipped with a G router. To be honest, I've never had a problem with G. My friend has had a G router with his 360 for years now and it works just fine. I don't see the big deal in upgrading to N at the moment, although I do like future-proofing (my laptop, for example, has an N capable card, even though I bought it two years ago when very few N routers and hotspots existed) so I'm not sure. So my two options are... Sell the 360 for Elite (include component cables, two games, controller, memory card, and the 120GB HDD, of course) for 250, put in 50 of my own money and buy the Slim. Or... Just buy a used WiFi Adapter for 40 bucks or so. Either way I end up spending the same amount of money. So I guess it'll depend on if I can get rid of the Xbox.
